First Aid At Work Initial Course – 3 Day

This course is approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). It is a course which once completed, allows personnel to be used as 'First Aiders' in the work place, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. The course is run in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations Act 1981.

It is both enjoyable & informative and run in a relaxed atmosphere. The trainers for this course are operational emergency services professionals who are able to pass on 'real life' experience therefore, building student's confidence in carrying out these skills in a First Aid situation. The course involves plenty of 'hands on' experience & practice for each student.

  • Basic Life Support
  • Dealing With Unconsciousness
  • Causes Of Unconsciousness
  • Control of Bleeding
  • Regulations
  • Fractures
  • Burns
  • Medical Emergencies
  • Cardiac Arrest
  • Eye injuries

Students will be independently assessed on the final day of the course by a qualified assessor. Having reached the required pass mark each student will be certificated for a period of 3 years.
