Our trainers are all fully trained in First Aid at Work and hold a First Aid at Work instructor's certificate and a trauma instructor's qualification as recognised by the Health & Safety Executive's First Aid Approvals and Monitoring Section (FAAMS) and formal teaching qualifications. Each have an extensive history of First Aid and Trauma Care, as well as paediatric experience gained through military and emergency services experience.
All First Aid courses will be delivered to our set Health and Safety approved syllabus. Agreed Specific Hazard content will be used to tailor courses to your needs before the start of the course. All delegates complete course evaluation forms at the end of all courses and results are fed back to you in summary form. Any special requirements will be arranged, details of these will be needed prior to the start of the course.
All training will be delivered on your premises, as well as an option to train off site at one of our community rooms. Through on site training this has the advantage of cost saving on travelling and time, and minor disruption to your daily services. On site training requires the following Training facilities:
The training room should be of a sufficient size to allow First Aid skills to be practised. In general we recommend a room to be able to use for a group of up to 12 people. Naturally, if smaller groups are to be trained, a smaller room can be used.
We will provide all First Aid specific materials and aids i.e. CPR training dummies, bandages and dressings. We will provide I.T equipment & projector, should this not be available at your location, as the course will utilise PowerPoint presentations and video.
We require a convenient Loading/Unloading area for equipment and car parking facilities for our trainers and assessors at the chosen locations.
