Lifeline Solutions offer a one day Emergency First Aid Course designed specifically for the school environment, for individuals who do not hold a First Aid at Work Certificate, and work with or around children. It is suitable for any school wishing to train their staff to be aware of common injuries and medical emergencies that could occur whilst children are in their care, and how to deal with them.
The course is flexible enough to be adapted to suit a specific training need identified within an individual school. The course is run over one day and includes both First Aid Theory involving children and practical sessions to build confidence in using these new skills, in a relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of interaction between instructor & individuals.
There is no formal examination with this course. Students are continually assessed throughout the course and those students who complete the whole days training and reach the required standard will receive a certificate enabling them to carry out first aid for a period of 3 years.
