This course is for companies or individuals who do not hold a First Aid Certificate, and require a one day course to gain certification. It is suitable for any business wishing to train their staff to deal with common injuries and medical emergencies that can occur in the workplace. It is particularly suited to businesses that are deemed to be 'lower risk' in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations. This enjoyable course is run over one day and includes both theory and practical sessions, in a relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of teacher & student interaction. The training is delivered by a serving/operational emergency services professional, who will be able to pass on years of medical experience, as well as bring 'real life' scenarios to the discussion. The course can be adapted to suit your particular environment, specific to your requirements.

There is no formal examination with this course. Students are continually assessed during the course and those students who complete the whole days training and reach the required standard will receive a certificate enabling them to carry out emergency first aid at work for a period of 3 years.
