The HSE states "Section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and regulations 10 and 13 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require employers to provide their employees with health and safety information and training".

Therefore, Lifeline Solutions offers an enjoyable and informative Manual Handling Course designed for company's who want their employees introduced or refreshed on the importance of correct manual handling techniques, and the legislation surrounding it, as well as how to maintain a good posture whilst lifting. Regular manual handling training will reduce the risk of injury to workers, saving the employer money! This course can cover individuals in low risk workplaces, such as offices, as well as higher risk environments, where lifting is frequent, such as hospitals, care homes or warehouses.

The course is delivered by a qualified trainer in health & safety (IOSH – Institute of Occupational Safety & Health), and who has extensive experience/history in 'on site manual handling' and can pass this on gained from an operational emergency services background.
